Summary

Night Support Worker - Acquired Brain Injury & Complex Needs Bournemouth | £13 per hour | Night Shifts

Are you the kind of person who brings calm, compassion, and care-especially when the world is quiet?

We're recruiting a Night Support Worker to join a specialist service in Bournemouth, helping adults rebuild their lives following acquired brain injuries from accidents or substance misuse, and often alongside autism, learning disabilities, or mental health challenges.

What You'll Be Doing During the night, you'll be a trusted presence-providing essential care, emotional support, and safety oversight. Whether someone is settling into sleep or feeling unsettled and needs a reassuring voice, you'll be there. You'll ensure personal care and medication needs are met and help maintain a calm, secure environment that supports rest and healing.

This is a role where patience, understanding, and quiet strength matter most.

Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, or acquired brain injuries

  • Confidence in providing personal care and administering medication

  • A non-judgmental, resilient, and empathetic approach

  • The ability to manage overnight routines and lone-working calmly

  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

Why Join Us?

  • £13 per hour, paid weekly

  • Accrued holiday pay to support your work-life balance

  • A meaningful, human-centred role where your presence makes a difference

  • Ongoing training and development to build your confidence and skill set

  • The opportunity to be part of someone's recovery journey-from surviving to thriving

If you believe in second chances and want to be there through the quietest but most important moments-we'd love to hear from you.

Call 0117 9486300 and ask for Harry for a warm, informal chat.
