Photograph Operator - No Experience Needed
Newton Abbot | £12.21 per hour (Days) / £14.65 per hour (Nights) | 12-hour shifts | Fixed shift pattern

Are you passionate about photography? Thrive in a busy, hands-on environment? Acorn by Synergie is hiring Photograph Operators to join the team at Harrier in Newton Abbot. No previous experience required - full paid training provided!

This is a temporary role with the potential to become ongoing depending on workload and performance.

What You'll Do:

As a Photograph Operator, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality printed photographs.

Duties include:

  • Operating and monitoring advanced photo printing machines

  • Quality checking for colour accuracy, clarity, and imperfections

  • Moving reels of printed photos between machines

  • Packing finished orders with accurate labels

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area

✅ What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Physically able - comfortable with standing, lifting, and moving materials

  • Positive attitude, reliable, and organised

  • Previous experience welcome but not essential - training is provided

Shift Patterns:

Day Shifts (12 hours - 7:00am to 7:00pm):

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

  • (Then repeats)

Night Shifts (8.5 hours - 10:30pm to 7:00am):

  • Sunday to Thursday

Pay:

  • £12.21/hour for day shifts (with enhanced weekend rates)

  • £14.65/hour for night shifts
