Key Responsibilities of the Operations Executive
Location: Heathrow - Terminal 5
Ensure the efficient management of the company's back-of-house areas, including loading docks, staging areas, corridors, and bin rooms
Facilitate the removal and disposal of bulk waste and retail waste, identifying and addressing any root causes of abuse.
Liaise with Heathrow partners to coordinate cleaning and maintenance of the back-of-house facilities.
Oversee the compliance of all back-of-house operations with Heathrow's health, safety, and fire regulatory framework.
Provide support and assistance to the company's concessionaires and logistics suppliers with back-of-house challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role within an airport, retail, or shopping centre environment is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and customer service.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Physically fit with the ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving items.
Familiarity with equipment like pallet trucks and retail storage media.
