Summary
The individual will be working with the Neurosurgery Clinical Lead and Operational Manager withintheir delegated Trust, however theses posts are reporting directly to the Neurosurgery ODN. To participate in and support the Network Quality and Service Improvement Group. To promote service redesign and change management methodology working with GIRFT,Neurosurgery Specification and NHSE leads. To support the delivery of training within trusts in conjunction with members of the Networkmanagement team. To collate relevant quality and service improvement data and provide summative reports andpresentations as required to evidence base key outcomes for patients and to inform businesscases. To support the implementation of the Network work plan, self-assessment process, qualityand service improvement programme and any other agreed work streams. To support the development of relevant Network policies and procedures in association with the Network team and key stakeholders. To support the network team to maximise operational effectiveness and consistency, ensureequitable access to services, improve the quality of care and manage patient flows across thenetwork. Work with patient groups to improve quality of care and to compile patient stories and workwith governance teams dealing with serious untoward incidents.
