Start Date: 22nd June 2025 End Date: 26th September 2025 (likely to be extended) Working Hours: 36 hours per week | Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 Pay Rate: £19.95 PAYE / £25.97 Umbrella Contract Type: Interim (Agency)
About the Role The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to deliver a dynamic employment support initiative under the Haringey Works Youth Employment Support Project. This is a vital role with real impact—supporting NEET young people and individuals affected by the criminal justice system to access employment opportunities and build better futures.
You’ll take the lead in designing and delivering practical employability support, coordinating workshops, securing work placements, and cultivating partnerships with employers, community organisations, training providers, and probation services.
Key Responsibilities
Organise employability workshops and targeted support sessions
Coordinate work placements with local employers and stakeholders
Engage with community groups and partner agencies to reach eligible participants
Tailor employment support strategies to individual needs and barriers
Monitor participant engagement, track progress, and report outcomes to the DWP
Collaborate on wider youth employment programmes, including Trailblazer initiatives
Ensure the project meets performance metrics and funder expectations
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in coordinating employment or community-focused projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
A collaborative mindset and the confidence to build and maintain partnerships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; relevant professional qualification
