Employment status: employed

Hours per week: 3 hours over the weekend during school term time. There may also be some additional hours available half term breaks during the week.

Hourly pay rate: £14.50 ph

To assist my 11-year-old son to safely access his local community. My son is autistic and has severe language and communication difficulties, with no awareness of danger. He enjoys enjoys riding around in the car, bubbles, balloons, swimming & simply being on his iPad. He also likes to visit the park, but for short durations. He is a very slow walker and dislikes walking for more than a few steps. He has poor awareness of his surroundings and road safety. You will be required to drive my son in your own vehicle in return for a payment of 35p per mile.

Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Other associated duties as required
Candidate qualities:

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

Applicants must have experience of working with children with severe communication difficulties and who get overly anxious in new environments.
