Summary
The successful applicant will be working as part of the Cell Systems Modelling research group, and will involve the development, refinement and analysis of genome scale models of food born pathogens, including Campylobacter, E. coli, Listeria and *Salmonella *using the ScrumPy modelling package. As well as using existing techniques (for example linear programming/flux balance analysis), the role will include development of novel techniques to incorporate various experimental data generated by our lab-based colleagues at the Quadram Institute as well hast to assist in experimental design.
In addition to this, close liaison with our collaborators will be an essential component of the role, and the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be experienced in interfacing between experimental scientists and theoreticians, and be prepared to travel to Norwich on a regular basis.
This is a full time, fixed term post, until March 2028.
