Job Title: Ward Receptionist – Supporting People with Learning Disabilities & Autism


Location: Brooklands Hospital

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Are you calm, organised, compassionateand passionate about supporting peoplewith learning disabilities and/or autism?

Brooklands Hospital is home to several specialist secure wards supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. We’re looking forWard Receptionists(officially titledWard Clerks) who are calm, friendly, and proactive – people who understand the importance of a warm welcome and can help keep our busy wards running smoothly.

This is more than an admin role – you’ll be a key part of the team supporting individuals with complex needs, helping to create a positive and safe environment for both patients and staff.

What you’ll do:
• Greet visitors and professionals in a calm, respectful way
• Handle ward admin and support daily operations
• Help create a safe, supportive environment for patients with LD&A
• Be a key team member in a busy, rewarding setting

· Scanning and uploading important documents and data accurately and promptly

· Helping to keep records accurate and up to date.
