Job Title:Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Location:West Midlands
Thorn Baker is teaming up with a growing 5-star house builder who have four exciting new projects kicking off in the West Midlands this year. They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Your Responsibilities:
Surveying work in housebuilding, associated procedures and practices including subcontract procurement
Valuation of subcontractor payment applications
Negotiation of final accounts
Preparation of monthly cost reports
Responsible for running a number ofdevelopments across the region
Working cohesively with the land, technical, construction and sales teams respectively
Assist in maintaining the regions portfolio house type cost database used for future land acquisitions

Required Skills:
Minimum qualification HND in Quantity Surveying.
2+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role for a housing developer
Proficient with IT systems - Microsoft packages and CRM systems
Full UK driving licence.
