The MAC Commercial Lead will play a pivotal role within the Project Commercial Team, providing commercial oversight and management across the full lifecycle of all Move and Change projects.

Key Responsibilities
Build and manage detailed project costs (BoQs) for capital projects (£100k–£3M).
Negotiate daily with suppliers to maintain strong margins.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks across project lifecycles.
Maximise commercial opportunities in the MAC environment.
Deliver accurate reporting on revenue and cash targets to leadership.
Supervise and support Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
Align project milestones and financials with the Project Management team.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent).
Extensive post-qualification experience, ideally in building maintenance.
Proven ability to manage construction contracts up to £10m.
Strong pre-construction knowledge: procurement, planning, contracts.
Skilled in estimating, tendering, and managing projects from concept to design approval.
Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD; Intellect experience is a plus.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of margin improvement and MRICS (or working towards).
