About the post:
We are seeking an excellent and enthusiastic class teacher to join our team to cover, initially for a one-year fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a forward-thinking, supportive and inclusive school. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills and a calm approach to working with children and with other adults. We are looking for someone who is cheerful, lively, reliable, flexible and hard working. Applications from Early Career Teachers who will be starting their careers in September 2025 would be welcomed.
We are looking for someone who:
• is, or has the potential to be, an inspirational, creative and innovative practitioner;
• has a proven record of successful teaching practice;
• has an unwavering belief in getting children to achieve their best;
• enjoys sharing ideas and working collaboratively as part of an effective team;
• actively works in partnership with others;
• is willing to take on leadership of a subject across the school if appropriate(ECT’s are not expected to lead a subject in their first year.)

It says that “The school has created an atmosphere where pupils and adults feel valued and nurtured.” The inspectors also commented that “Behaviour is very good… relationships between adults and pupils are warm and respectful”. The also noted that “the school has put together an inspiring curriculum, that enthuses pupils to want to learn more.”
