ROLE DESCRIPTION

Join Our Team at Newcastle College's Construction Department!

Are you an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a technical background in Drylining and Plastering? We're looking for someone like you to support our apprentices in college and in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver training to apprentices to support them to excel in their current roles and advance their careers.

* Carry out progress reviews and update relevant e-portfolio systems.
* Take ownership of apprentices and employers to ensure compliance with quality standards and processes throughout the learner journey.

Requirements:

* A Level 3 vocational qualification in Drylining/Plastering
* Level 2 in English and Maths or willing to achieve this during employment
* Knowledge and experience of Construction industry practices and Health and Safety regulations.
* The ability to self-manage workload, to meet deadlines and fit with employer needs.
* Experience of working with young people to guide and support them through a qualification/training programme would be advantageous but full training and support will be given.
