Summary
provide direct patient care in acute pain management participate in clinical decisions surrounding pain management techniques for individual patients and plan treatments of care for individual patients facilitate delivery of high quality care with effective documentation and high standards of practice development of student and qualified nursing and medical staff participation in regular teaching programme maintain and develop effective communication between wards, departments and specialities. accountability for own practice and responsibility for maintaining and improving professional knowledge and competence. act as a resource within a multidisciplinary team when prescribing pain management techniques. development and promotion of the acute pain service as a resource for all members of the healthcare team. others as per job description.
