Cornwall’s leading specialist dental practice is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to work alongside a General Dentist in a fully private setting. This part-time role combines independent hygiene clinics with chairside assistance, all within a modern, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality preventive care, including periodontal maintenance, scaling and polishing


  • Provide chairside assistance to the General Dentist during restorative and cosmetic procedures


  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health and preventive strategies


  • Maintain meticulous clinical records and adhere to all regulatory standards


  • Collaborate with dentists, specialists and support staff to ensure seamless patient journeys


  • Contribute to the practice’s reputation for clinical excellence and patient-centred care


    Candidate Requirements:

    • GDC-registered Dental Hygienist (with or without dental therapy qualification)


    • Experience in private practice desirable


    • Confident in both independent hygiene delivery and chairside support


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


    • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
