Location: Based at Wakefield College, but with frequent working at Castleford & Selby Colleges.
Salary: £35,071 - £37,201 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Weeks: 52 weeks per year
We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Services Manager to join our Estates team across all 3 of our campuses.
You will be responsible for supporting the every day leadership, coordination and delivery of the Group’s Estates operational services to ensure these functions run smoothly.
The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group has three College campuses, in Wakefield, Castleford and Selby, where you will lead the teams of security, caretaking and cleaning services to provide excellent service, and working across all three sites will be required.
You will be required to:
Manage the delivery of services to ensure they are effective, responsive, and aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives
Support the development and implementation of operational plans, policies and procedures that enhance service delivery and comply with Health and Safety, Safeguarding, ISO 9001, and other regulatory requirements
Manage service budgets effectively, ensuring value for money whilst maintaining high standards across all operational functions

You will have:
GCSE in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Health & Safety or Quality Management System, or willingness to undertake
First Aid at Work, or willingness to undertake
ISO9001 – Internal Auditor or willingness to undertake
This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.
