The role:

The Information and Data Management (IADM) Programme requires an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and deliver projects related to Enterprise Content Management and several other businesses focussed ICT projects.

The IADM programme is focussed on ensuring Information is utilised effectively and appropriately to deliver business change across multiple services. The PM will need to display an understanding of the importance of Information Assurance and how it can improve effectiveness within an organisation.

Examples of other project subject matters will include, GIS and Address Management – the PM will be supported by a wider network of PMs under the programme, as well as an active Programme Manager and SRO.

The Programme is information and business focussed, so it is essential that the successful PM can demonstrate a range of previous projects which display business and ICT capabilities, delivery and outputs.



Key accountabilities:

Lead and deliver projects within the Information and Data Management (IADM) Programme, with a focus on Enterprise Content Management and business-driven ICT initiatives
Ensure effective use and governance of information to drive business transformation across services
Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets, aligning with programme objectives and standards
Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical teams, service leads, and senior managers, to ensure successful project delivery
Support initiatives related to GIS, Address Management, and other data-driven services
Promote and integrate Information Assurance principles throughout all project activities
Work closely with the wider programme team, including other PMs, Programme Manager, and SRO, to ensure coordinated delivery and shared outcomes



Key criteria:

Strong background in IT, with experience leading teams in technical roles
Proven track record in programme and project management, including scoping, feasibility studies, and budget control, ideally using PRINCE2
importance of Information Assurance and how it can improve effectiveness within an organisation.
Experience in tendering and contract management, ideally within a local government environment
Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders to identify and deliver cost savings, efficiencies, and business benefits
Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared objectives
