Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of Nursery staff to promote excellence in teaching and learning. We are a three-form entry school with a large co-located Nursery School. Successful candidates will join a very supportive year group team and be provided with high quality induction, CPD and support. We are looking for a teaching assistant who has:

1 x Temporary Level 2, Start Date September 2025. Based at our Nursery Site on South Street, Rochdale.

17.5 hours per week 8.30am-4.00pm with half an hour lunch break Monday and Tuesday. 8.30am-12noon on Wednesday.

Grade 3 points 5-6. Annual salary £10,040-£10,199. Pay award pending.

The Governing Body of Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is looking to appoint a Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant to cover maternity leave at our Nursery Site on South Street, Rochdale.

Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is a large, multi-cultural primary school situated in Rochdale. The School currently has 715 children from 2 to 11 years of age. Our school is an exciting place to work with well-behaved children and a friendly and dedicated staff team.
