Working hours/pattern: 31.65 hours per week - (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only), Permanent Contract

Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 (pro rata) - Grade 3 Point 5 to 6

Actual Salary: £18,739 - £19,037

Starting ASAP

We are seeking to appoint a reliable and student friendly Teaching Assistant to support our SEND department in providing one to one support to our students with EHCP’s (Education Health Care Plans).

The candidate will have a patient and caring manner in supporting our students with additional needs. Experience of working within a school setting, including the relevant Health & Safety requirements is desirable, though training will be provided.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointment to the post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring background check.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.
