Summary


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a band 6 static post within the Kingston Hospital Frailty/ Emergenty Department team, which will enable you to develop and integrate your OT skills and knowledge within emergency care.

Within this post you will have the opportunity to
• complete quality improvement project
• training on equipment, adaptations, seating, moving and handling, assessment and intervention for complex comorbidities and long term conditions.
• Participate in in service training and peer support.

Applicants are expected to work autonomously and as part of the wider MDT.

Main duties may include but are not exhaustive of managing own caseload, liaising with MDT, moving and handling assessments and patient centred goal setting. You will be working closely with patients, family members, carers and acute/ community partners to deliver individualised treatment programmes. You will also be facilitating clinical supervision, student development and service improvement initiatives including audits, pathway developments and service promotion.
