Summary
Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to join our growing Broxburn-based client as an Intake Operative.
What's on offer?
- Monday to Friday, 06:00 and 15:00 (37.33 hours per week)
- £12.21 per hour - paid weekly
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
Your duties as an Intake Operative will include:
- Identifying different products
- Unloading delivery vehicles
- Inspecting materials for contamination and conducting HACCP checks
- Maintaining an accurate count of stock, including weighing and scanning onto the processing line and trailers
- Operating machinery while keeping equipment sterile and appropriately maintained
- Completing paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a busy food processing environment is essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict hygiene and safety procedures
- Ideally have access to your own vehicle
Please note: This role involves working in a chilled environment, but full protective PPE will be provided.
