Summary
We’re excited to be opening a brand-new children’s residential home in Bexleyheath, Kent, and we’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our founding team.
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of daily life in the home, helping to create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people aged 15–19. You’ll support the Registered Manager in leading shifts, guiding junior staff, and ensuring each young person receives consistent, trauma-informed care tailored to their individual needs.
The ideal Senior Support Worker will hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and have hands-on experience working within a children’s home or similar setting. You’ll be calm under pressure, passionate about making a lasting difference, and confident in handling a wide range of situations with empathy and professionalism.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Support Worker who wants to be part of something from the ground up — to help shape the culture and values of a new home committed to supporting vulnerable young people to heal, grow, and thrive.
In return, the successful Senior Support Worker will receive a competitive salary of £24,000–£28,000 per year, plus additional sleep-in payments, training and development, and the chance to be part of a close-knit, supportive team.
