Summary
We’re opening a brand-new children’s residential home in Bexleyheath, Kent, and we’re looking for a caring, reliable Support Worker to join our team.
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children and young people aged 8–18 who may have experienced trauma, neglect, or adverse childhood experiences. You’ll work as part of a committed team to provide emotional support, structure, and a safe environment where young people can feel secure and begin to thrive.
The ideal Support Worker will have some experience working with children or vulnerable individuals – whether in care, education, or community settings – and a genuine passion for helping others. A calm, patient, and resilient approach is essential, along with a willingness to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a Support Worker who wants to grow in a meaningful career while being part of something from the very beginning. You’ll receive full training and support, including the chance to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (if you don’t already have it).
In return, the successful Support Worker will earn a salary of £23,000–£26,000 per year, plus sleep-in payments, ongoing training, and the chance to make a real impact in the lives of young people.
