Summary

Grounds Maintenance Staff - Taunton

Our client requires Grounds Maintenance Staff to carry out tasks such as strimming and hard and soft landscaping. Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and much more

What we are looking for:

Must have some experience within the grounds maintenance industry
Capable of working safely using various equipment and hand tools (e.g., strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers, etc.)
Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment
Enthusiasm, good communication skills
Good understanding of health and safety
You must have a full, clean driving license; applications without one cannot be considered, unfortunately
Will understand the importance of working as a team
Reliable and conscientious with a can-do attitude
A willingness to learn
Ability to work on one’s initiative

Hours of work:

Monday–Friday, but there may be some weekend overtime available

Rate of Pay

£13.00 per hour
These will be PAYE positions, you will benefit from Accrued Holiday Pay from day one
Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)
Weekly Pay
No Umbrella payments or fees
Only Tax and National Insurance deductions, and this will be shown on your payslip

This is a temp-to-perm role; the right people can be offered permanent roles
