Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What We're Looking For:

Recent graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Special Educational Needs, Sociology, or related field
Strong academic foundation with understanding of SEN principles and inclusive education
Graduate-level communication skills and professional approach
Passion for working with children with special educational needs and disabilities
Commitment to professional development and learning from experienced practitioners
Understanding of safeguarding principles and dedication to child protection

Previous experience with young people is advantageous but not essential – we provide comprehensive training for the right graduate candidate

Your Graduate Role Will Include:

Full-time graduate position: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term-time only
Direct pupil support: Working with children with autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and behavioral challenges
Professional collaboration: Supporting teachers and SENCOs in implementing personalized learning strategies
EHCP implementation: Assisting with Education, Health & Care Plans and individual learning objectives
Skill development: Helping pupils with social skills, emotional regulation, and building independence
Resource preparation: Creating and adapting materials to support diverse learning needs
Professional networking: Building relationships with external professionals and specialists
