Summary


Senior Staff Nurse Band 6 -Fixed term 1 year contract – maternity cover (37.5 hours per week)

We are looking for some one to join our well-established HIV outpatient nursing team, providing excellent, person-centred care for approximately 2000 people living with HIV.

This a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, and innovative nurse who can run their own nurse led clinics.

The ideal applicant will be committed to multidisciplinary team working, have excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of HIV.

Working closely with our Clinical Nurse Specialists the post holder will be key in maintaining the high quality of nursing care within the service.

The minimum essential criteria to apply for this post are:
• Significant post registration experience.
• Experience of working in one of the following: HIV, BBV, Sexual Health, Infectious Diseases.
• To work as part of the HIV team, providing and supporting a high-quality nursing service, including nurse led clinics for stable patients within St George’s Hospital to people living with HIV.
• To see patients on the ward and attend ward rounds when required.
• The HIV nurses work as part of the multi-professional team, ensuring that patients with HIV receive a high standard of care and support.
