Charnwood Museum is an award-winning attraction Situated in the beautiful grounds of Queens Park in Loughborough.

Housed in the former Victorian swimming baths, Charnwood Museum showcases the rich and diverse heritage of the local area and features a wide range of exhibits reflecting the history, geology, archaeology and industries of Charnwood and surrounding areas.

Key to all of the above is the role of the Museum Assistant. Working as part of a small team, you will contribute to the smooth running of Charnwood Museum engaging with all aspects of the operation with a particular focus on customer service, security and health and safety whilst on duty.

You will ensure that all visitors have a warm welcome and an enjoyable visit. You will be dealing with a range of activities from enquires about room hire, carrying out cleaning tasks, facilitating school groups and delivering events, its never the same day twice at Charnwood Museum.

The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
