Summary
About the Role:
We are looking to recruit a Junior Transport Planner for our West Drayton site.
We have fantastic opportunities for someone with the right experience to join our team
The successful role holder will complete transport administration/planning as directed by the depot management team.
You will be reporting to the Transport Manager. Where any issues are identified affecting deadlines, you will be expected to raise these at the earliest opportunity
Daily duties include but are not limited to logging jobs in the company database system, liaising with customers via phone and email, organising all paperwork regarding vehicle checks including defect sheets. Accurate keying in of data, checking for and chasing PODs
Applicants should have the following:
Previous experience in a similar role in the logistics industry. Experience of Digital Tachographs and Tachograph regulations is desirable. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills. Good telephone manner essential and experience of talking to end customers. Excellent geographical knowledge. Excellent communication skills.
