Do you have a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a specialist secondary school in the Dudley area.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Assist with differentiated lesson delivery
  • Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEND)

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (32.5 hours/week), Term-Time Only (39 weeks/year)
  • Progression: Permanent contract available after successful probationary period

  • Experience working with children or young people (especially in SEND settings)
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) - desirable but not essential
