Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to manage a team of Student Compliance Officers, focusing on monitoring the attendance of our home students and ensuring full compliance with Academic Regulations. The role involves leading the development and implementation of university-wide processes aligned with the Student Engagement and Attendance Policy, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring consistent application. You will oversee regular data reporting, timely escalations, and collaborate across departments to address and rectify practice improvement requirements.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Student Administration function at a UK Higher Education Institution, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality service and solutions under pressure. Strong IT proficiency and the ability to handle confidential data are essential, alongside excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and adaptability to new challenges and changing roles. Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree or have significant relevant professional experience and demonstrate a commitment to the University's values, fostering professional relationships built on respect and trust. Knowledge of student immigration, familiarity with Banner or student management systems, and a proactive approach to continuous learning are desirable qualities for this role.
