Summary

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting delivery of pathway improvements across the Cancer Alliance. The role will support the Head of Service Improvement (TVCA) and Trusts, deliver pathway improvements to support full adoption of best practice timed pathways and achievement of the key cancer waiting times standards. Responsible for the development and implementation of multiple cancer pathway improvement priorities, including supporting MDT reform, shared pathway improvements, diagnostic pathways and treatment variation, which will ensure achievement of continuous improvement across clinical pathways as defined within the programme workplan. Responsible for supporting the Clinical Advisory Groups (CAGs) To set up and support the Tumour Site Specific and Primary Care Groups, managing the organisation, secretariat, reporting and actions of these meetings. Support the Clinical Leads in setting standards and providing quality assurance of cancer services across the Thames Valley system to reduce variation. Responsible for the detailed analysis of highly complex information in relation to multiple aspects of the Trusts performance. This information will be used to drive change, working in collaboration with key stakeholders internal and external to the Trust. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery.
