Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, term time only plus 2 training days.
Fixed Term until 31.08.2026
Northern Star Academies Trust require a part-time Teaching Assistant, who will be based at Denholme Primary School in Bradford, working 30 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity to work in class supporting the learning of all children and that of specific children with additional needs.
The successful candidate will:
• have a clear commitment to the need to safeguard children;
• have experience of supporting and adapting learning for SEN pupils;
• be robust, resilient and able to cope with the demands of children who can find school life very challenging;
• be flexible, positive and have a ‘can do‘ attitude;
• have minimum NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants/GCSE Grade ‘C’ Maths and English or equivalent qualifications;
• have the ability to work as part of, and contribute to, the school team.
