Finance – Shaping Wiltshire’s Future

Are you organised with a keen eye for detail? Do you have great communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent service? If this is you, we invite you to join our Care Contributions Team.

Our team plays a key role in managing and overseeing the billing and collection of care contributions for adults in receipt of social care services.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact while developing valuable skills in finance, administration and customer service. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working in a varied and rewarding environment with opportunities for professional growth and a positive work life balance.

As a Care Contributions Team Support Officer, you will be right at the centre of ensuring timely payments, helping with the support of financial processes, liaising with families and legal teams and with various internal departments. Sensitivity and professionalism will be important in your approach to people's sometimes very difficult situations.

You will be responsible for managing direct debit payments, processing refunds and write-offs and liaising with service users and their families. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of processes, undertake data analysis and ensure compliance with financial procedures. Strong IT skills, including Excel and database management, will help you excel in this role.
