Summary
About the Role:
We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and committed Support Workers to join our team providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 12–18 in a residential setting. Our service supports young people with a range of needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges, trauma, and social vulnerability.
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
Support with daily routines including education, health appointments, and activities
Help young people develop life skills, confidence, and independence
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment
Work closely with the wider team, families, and professionals
Keep accurate records and contribute to care plans and risk assessments
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (residential care preferred)
Understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and behaviour management
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
