Summary
· Maintenance Operative· Basic electrical qualifications required
· Working for a Leisure company with multiple commercial buildings
· Head office based in Sheffield with sites spread across Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Hull & Manchester
· Manchester casino is a brand new building and Leeds, Hull and Bradford are all newly refurbished. Sheffield also just starting its refurb now too.
· Reporting to, and working closely with the group maintenance engineer and supporting when they are off
· Long term idea is that the successful applicant will be to succeed the current group maintenance engineer when he retires in next couple of years (once promoted its a 3-4k uplift on salary).
· Company van to use for travel between sites (usually not to take home though as is often shared between maintenance staff)
· Duties will usually include: electrics, plumbing, painting, labouring, lighting, moving fridges and furniture, supporting with PPM's and compliance checks, general building fabric repairs
· Working hours- 40 hours per week, 7am-3pm (will be required to stay behind to complete a job as and when is necessary).
· Salary £30,000 (yearly, business-wide salary uplift usually around 2.5% mark)
· Monthly pay
· Very open to providing training & upskilling so open to people who don't have very single skill required.
· Must have good communication skills as often helping to solve and advise on issue from other sites remotely over the phone.
· Will receive a uniform allowance
· Also you're able to claim back for any expenses, materials, tools, stock used.
· You will receive a discount of 25% on food and drink in the stadium and casinos.
· Food provided during work hours free of charge.
· Subsidised taxis
· Very flexible with working hours and holidays as long as work is completed.
· Company phone provided and must be accessible during operating hours (won't be nights and can often just be dealt with over the phone and hold a site visit until regular work hours).
· If any overtime worked you get time back.
· All H&S training provided in house (legionella, w@h etc.)
