Summary
Job Summary
TavasTechs is looking for a proactive and skilled IT Security Analyst to strengthen our cybersecurity posture and support our incident response and risk management operations.
In this role, you will work closely with internal leadership and customers to ensure timely detection, response, and mitigation of cyber threats.
You will be instrumental in developing key metrics and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed and drive informed security decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve TavasTechs incident response capabilities with a proactive,
breach-assumed mindset.
Collaborate with external service providers to manage risks and issues using a
structured “fix or flag” approach.
Maintain an up-to-date cyber risk and issues log and ensure resolution progress is tracked effectively.
Develop clear and actionable KPIs/KRIs using 5x5 risk assessment models for reporting to key stakeholders.
Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior leadership, including COOs and the CISO.
Meet weekly with the CISO to review progress on key cybersecurity deliverables and initiatives.
Support the Customers CISO team’s day-to-day (BAU) activities and strategic projects.
Work with customers to align internal practices with industry best practices in
cybersecurity.
Assist in ensuring detection and incident response processes are continuously
optimized.
Candidate Experience
8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or IT Risk roles.
Hands-on experience with incident response, risk analysis, and vendor collaboration.
Familiarity with reporting and interpreting cybersecurity metrics for executive
audiences.
Experience working with external service providers.
Education
Masters degree degree in Cybersecurity
