The post holder will design, develop, prepare and deliver a wide range of fire safety training to all staff throughout the organisation specific to their individual needs and departmental requirements. This will be inline with the Trust training needs analysis. Maintain accurate records of all training including the recording of attendees, feedback information and any out comes. Organise training dates, times and locations ensuring that all the relevant equipment and six of rooms are correct. Support the fire safety advisers with evacuation training and drills as required by Wards and Departments. To resolve any non-compliance issues and promote high standards related to fire safety training. This will all be covered under the relevant HTM 05-03 Operational Provisions Part A: Training and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005.
· Responsible for developing Fire Safety training sessions for all staff, full time, part time including volunteers etc.
· Prepare and deliver training presentations in line with the Trusts training needs analysis and matrix including fire warden, awareness, evacuation, response and drill training along with other relevant courses.
· Provide specialist training to staff where patient evacuation plans and PEEPs are needed to enable safe evacuation.
· Visit all premises to deliver training.
· Ensure training content is relevant and up to date.
· Jointly work with the local managers to provide realistic scenario training (fire drills and table top exercises) to test fire, contingency planning and resilience arrangements.
· Ensure all relevant training is conducted in accordance with training guidance inHTM 05-03 Operational Provisions Part A: Trainingand the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Health & Safety at Work Act.

· Produce data and reports to be submitted to the deputy fire safety manager and data to be used for meetings and annual reports etc.
