Summary


An enthusiastic and motivated individual is required to join our team of full-time Clinical Support Workers. You will be working as part of a small team, working closely with ward Nurses, Medical Staff and other Support Staff to ensure our patients receive the best possible care on wards at the Royal Derby Hospital.

You will be committed to helping maintain patients' safety, privacy and dignity by demonstrating a caring attitude and want to make a difference to our patients' experience.

This role requires working across 7 days a week from 7 am until 8 pm on a 15 week rolling rota pattern.

You will undertake Venepuncture, Cannulation and ECG’s as part of your role. A training programme will underpin the skills and knowledge required for this post.

To perform technical scientific investigations covering several disciplines, involving the processing of blood and other body fluids. You will receive support and advice from Point of Care Associate Practitioners and Biomedical Scientists in delivering this service.
