Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working General Labourer to join our team on-site at the iconic Rothesay Pavilion. You will be working directly alongside our experienced Demolition Squad, supporting the safe and efficient removal of materials, site preparation, and clean-up during renovation and construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with manual demolition tasks under supervision.
Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
Clear debris and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Operate hand tools and basic machinery as required.
Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Support tradespeople and site operatives as needed.
Handle and dispose of waste materials in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience on construction or demolition sites is preferred.
Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous manual labour.
A valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is essential.
Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Must be able to travel to and from Rothesay Pavilion daily.
Desirable:
Experience using small plant or demolition tools.
Awareness of asbestos handling procedures (training can be provided).
First Aid certificate.
