Summary
GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers on a temp to perm basis for our client in Wetherby
Shifts:
- HGV Class 2 Driver shifts:
* 0600 starts
* Monday to Friday
* Average 10 hour shift
Pay & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday: - £16.81 per hour (Rising to £17.81 per hour once Permanent)

* Please note that pay rates include holiday pay
These rates are PAYE and we do not engage with Umbrella contracts.
Main Duties will include:
- Conducting Vehicle safety check
- Delivering goods to various locations following a pre-defined route
- Securing loads
- Working with a drivers mate to unload the vehicle (Handball and heavy lifting is required for this role)
- This role is multi-drop
The Candidate:
- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
- A presentable appearance and an eye for detail
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
- No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills
- Must have at least 6 months experience as a Class 2 Driver
