Summary
we are looking for compassionate, reliable and resilient individuals to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people-10-18 years old in a residential setting who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. Our aim is to provide a safe, nurturing and structured environment where they can thrive and build positive futures
Salary range - £23,000 -£28,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. plus sleep in allowance.
Full time permanent. Shifts is rota basis includes evenings and weekends
Key Responsibilities
Provide day to day care
Support with daily routine to children and young people including education, activities, meals
Promote independence, self esteem and emotional wellbeing
Work as part of a committed and skilled team
Accurately record incidents , care plans and progress
Participate in team meetings trainings and reflective practice.
What we looking for
Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals ( Paid or voluntary)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or willing to complete
A warm , patient and empathetic approach
Excellent communication skills and an advocate
Full driving license is preferred but not essential
All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
