Summary
Recruitment Professionals are hiring on behalf of a well-established Early Years setting seeking a committed and experienced Deputy Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children's development and well-being are the priority.
Requirements:
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education
• Strong knowledge of Birth to Five Matters and the Statutory EYFS Framework
• Proven experience delivering EYFS curriculum including literacy and numeracy
• Confident managing parent/carer enquiries, registrations, and event coordination
• Skilled in staff supervision, appraisals, training, and rota planning
• Experience with budgeting, timesheet oversight, and team deployment
• Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
• Professional telephone manner and IT proficiency (Microsoft Office)
• Up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• In-date, recognised Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Sound understanding and practice of safeguarding policies
