Summary
Saturday Hygiene Operative – Taylors Snacks (6am–2pm)
Location: Errol
Pay: £15.60 per hour
Hours: Saturdays only, 6:00am – 2:00pm
Must Drive – Onsite Location Not Accessible by Public Transport
Join the team behind one of the UK’s favourite snack brands! Taylors Snacks is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Hygiene Operative to support our high food safety and cleanliness standards – helping keep our site spotless and compliant.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Carry out scheduled industrial cleaning tasks in line with Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs)
Safely prepare and handle cleaning chemicals
Operate industrial cleaning equipment (foamers, power washers, steamers)
Perform detailed machinery cleaning and visual or swab-based inspections
Maintain clean and organised chemical storage and cleaning areas
Ensure regular cleaning of waste bins, staff areas, and replenishment of dispensers
Keep accurate records of tasks and inspections completed
Promptly respond to hygiene-related emergencies
Escalate any food safety or contamination concerns
Request re-orders of consumables as needed
Report any issues that prevent scheduled cleaning tasks from being completed
What We’re Looking For:
Previous hygiene/cleaning experience in a food production or industrial setting preferred
Must be able to drive (location is not serviced by public transport)
Confidence using industrial cleaning tools and handling chemicals safely
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on Saturdays
