Summary
About the Role
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about making a difference through your work? We’re looking for a Billing & Collections Administrator to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections, supporting our mission to deliver outstanding care and service.
Please note: This is a fixed term contract for between 3-6 Months with a possibility that could be extended.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and distribute invoices accurately and on time.
- Track customer accounts, reconcile balances, and initiate collection efforts.
- Post and allocate receipts daily; manage monthly direct debit collections.
- Respond to internal and external queries, resolving disputes and billing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of payments, credit limits, and collection activity.
- Liaise with solicitors, Local Authorities, and ICBs on complex funding cases.
- Build strong relationships with Home Managers and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and support pre-admission checks.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in billing, credit control, and query resolution.
- Understanding of collections, cashflow, and GDPR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and professional communication.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of numeracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively.
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and grow.
