Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful post holder will support and assist teachers and other senior staff as part of a professional team in Trinity Post 16 Solutions Ltd, where we offer bespoke packages to young people aged 19-25 who have additional support needs.

Learners who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities (LLDD) are provided with a study programme that equip them with the skills needed for adulthood. EHCP outcomes are at the heart of the programme to equip learners to: Live as independently as possible; prepare for employment and the world of work; become involved in social andcommunity activity; live a healthy lifestyle.

We are looking for

Experience of working with children of relevant age in a learning environment.

Experience of successfully implementing national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes or strategies.

A proven track record of raising pupils’ progress and attainment levels in a range of classroom settings, including working with individuals, small groups and whole classes.

Specialist skills or training in the relevant curriculum or learning area, e.g. behaviour management, SEN, individual subject areas as indicated

Experience of producing lesson plans and worksheets and of administering assessing and marking tests.

Training in relevant learning strategies.

NVQ 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent experience supporting teaching and learning in schools
