EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT ASSISTANTHours: 37 hours per week, Term Time Only Salary: £20,599 - £21,248 (NJC 5 -7)Are you an enthusiastic, organised, and creative individual passionate about student success and career development? Franklin College is seeking an Employer Engagement Assistant/Officer to join our Centre for Professional Development.This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you'll help shape students’ futures by leading careers-focused events, coordinating employer and university engagement, and supporting exciting trips across the UK and beyond. Key Responsibilities include: • Delivering engaging careers events, including our renowned STEM & Creative Conferences, Freshers Fair, and Keeping Safe Day. • Building meaningful relationships with employers, apprenticeship providers, and universities. • Coordinating all student trips, from local visits to international experiences. • Producing our weekly careers newsletter and support our Franklin Professionals programme. • Assisting with wider college events such as Open Evenings and Skills Fairs. Who You Are: • A confident communicator with strong organisational and IT skills (MS Office essential). • Experienced in working with young people or within an education/training setting. • A multitasker who thrives in a busy environment with a team-focused approach. • Ideally, qualified to degree level or holding a relevant Level 3 qualification. • Creative and enthusiastic with a real passion for supporting student developmentWe provide a supportive working environment with opportunities for continuous professional development or further training.
