About the Role
Leeds City College is recruiting three Learning Support Assistants to join our dedicated SEND team.
We are seeking individuals who are motivated, compassionate, and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to supporting young people with additional needs. You will be based primarily at one of our city-centre campuses, though some flexibility to work across sites may be required to best meet the needs of our students.
The SEND Provision at Leeds City College delivers a wide range of high-quality support services for students aged 16 to 25 with diverse additional needs. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students succeed both academically and personally.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team of around 70 SEND professionals, all passionate about inclusion and student success. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a career in education, gain experience in the SEND sector, or explore a future in teaching and student support. Progression pathways for this role can include Specialist Learning Support Assistant roles, Teaching Apprenticeships or opportunities to progress toward a SEND Team Leader position.
If you're looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference and grow your career, we’d love to hear from you.
