JOIN THE TEAM AT ONE OF EXMOUTH’S BUSIEST SEAFRONT VENUES
Located on the ground floor of Ocean Exmouth, The Engine Room is a lively beachside bar and eatery with a unique blend of casual
dining, live sport, and sea views. Whether it’s a quick drink, a relaxed meal, or a family day out, we pride ourselves on
delivering warm, friendly service in a vibrant setting.
We’re looking for reliable and energetic Customer Service Assistants to support our front-of-house operations on a casual basis.

YOUR ROLE
As part of the front-line team, you'll help create a great experience for every guest by:
* Greeting customers warmly and helping them with orders
* Preparing and serving drinks or food, depending on the shift
* Keeping tables clean, stocked, and ready for the next customer
* Handling payments accurately using till systems
* Working efficiently with the wider team to maintain service speed and quality
* Supporting with stock refills, basic cleaning, and general upkeep of the venue

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:
* Friendly, approachable, and professional at all times
* Comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced environment
* Flexible with availability – particularly evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
* A team player who communicates clearly and positively with others
* Happy to take on a variety of tasks with enthusiasm

USEFUL (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) EXPERIENCE:
* Customer service or hospitality experience
* Bar or café background
* Food Hygiene awareness or certification
* POS or till operation skills
* First Aid at Work
