Summary
The post holder will be expected to manage clerical and secretarial staff to support the delivery of the clinical services. They will be required to manage access targets such as referral to treat, and to ensure departmental systems are in place to manage patient pathways. The post holder will work alongside the Service Manager, Clinicians and other administrative services within the directorate of the trust to support with service improvements and developments. You should have excellent communication skills and good organisation and interpersonal skills. Flexibility and aptitude to work in a fast paced department is important. The successful applicants will have experience of data inputting using Patient Information Management systems (EPR, PAS, PPM or alternative) and have a thorough understanding of information governance. Waiting list management and knowledge of the RTT pathways is essential.
