About the Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

As a key member of the SEN support team, your responsibilities will include:

    • Working full-time in a long-term post with competitive weekly pay of up to £600.
    • Providing tailored support to students with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges.
    • Offering one-on-one assistance and small group interventions to help students remain engaged, focused, and confident in the classroom.
    • Implementing individual support strategies and behaviour management plans in collaboration with teaching staff and SEN professionals.
    • Helping students develop not only academically but socially and emotionally as well.

    We are seeking graduates who: Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

      • Hold a 2:1 degree or above in any subject area – Psychology, Education, or related degrees are especially encouraged.
      • Are genuinely enthusiastic about supporting pupils with diverse educational needs.
      • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students and colleagues.
      • Are patient, flexible, and emotionally resilient – especially in a fast-paced secondary school setting.
      • Have prior experience working with young people in any capacity (volunteering, tutoring, coaching, youth groups, etc.).
