The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in leading our 2 & 4 bed children’s homes. You’ll help deliver outstanding care, lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance. You will be required to have extensive knowledge of the following legislation: Children’s Act, Children’s homes Regulations, OFSTED Regulations (REG 40, 44 & 45).

Key Responsibilities
• Assist all staff in day-to-day home management, providing leadership, identifying training needs and opportunities for professional growth
• Support all staff to ensure you are all fully compliant with the company’s policies, procedures, legislation and social policy
• Ensuring safeguarding, risk assessments & care plans are up to date
• Work with multi-agency teams, families, and professionals to ensure best practice
• Supporting with the recruitment, inductions and participating in any disciplinary processes

Requirements
• Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care
• Level 5 Leadership & Management in Children’s Residential Care (or willing to work towards)
• At least 1 year in a deputy/senior role in a children’s residential setting
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, trauma, Ofsted frameworks & DoLS
• Full UK driving licence

The location/work-base for this role may require you work to from multiple locations. We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.
